Touch screen rigth click not working | Win 11 | 360 laptop

Hi there!

I am using a 360 laptop with stylus pen and touch screen. I noticed when using Magix, the right click function does not work with the touch screen, with or without stylus. Normally right click is used when holding down your finger or stylus on the screen for a sec or so.

I was wondering has anyone else noticed this option missing / lacking? I think these convertable- type of laptops are getting popular and this would be a nice to have- feature. Or am I missing some setting that I don't know of?

The 'right click' function is controlled by the Windows/Input device settings - check they are programmable and that the Stylus/Touch is delivering a right click to prpgrams.

If the Input device is programmable and has the option to have multiple profiles for different programs you should be able to program it for Movie Studio.

I checked the right click touch feature on a Windows 11 laptop/tablet and the right click 'options' do not become available until the the finger is taken off the screen, unlike mobile phones and some tablets running Android or IOS where it appears before the finger release.

I just tested my Surface Pro 3 with the stylus. The stylus is set as per MicroSoft -

Right-click Press and hold the side button, then tap on the item.

The following do not work with right-click:

VPX14, MEP2021 Plus, Music Maker 2023.

The following work with right-click:

The old Magix Audio & Music Lab, Samplitude Pro X3 Suite, Xara Designer Pro X19, PaintShop Pro 2021, Outlook.

I think that the ones listed as not working are supposed to work, no?

Hi John

Long touch definitely not working on the Yoga after re-installing MMS, also does not work with Travel Maps which is in a worse state then MMS for use on a touch screen - eg play button stays selected.

As a test I tried it with other input methods I have - Wacom graph tablet stylus right click, and Wireless touchpad right click, work.

Thanks for your comments on this. John EB, I think I tried changing the stylus / touch screen options but I need to check again. Anyway, my stylus does not have the second programmable key that other models have, so maybe I'm the problem here, go and know.
