Too many glitches -- Uninstalled

Spent considerable time trying to make this program work for me in a useful way. Only really bought it for the 3D side, but with these last few updates I can no longer make use of GoPro Studio if I have MEP installed. Seems it does not like "CFHD.dll", which is part to GoPro Studio. Asked a few times for help with this, filing a ticket, but all I get is the run-around about trying to fix it myself, instead of tech support actually looking at what the problem is. There are all types of ways to do this remotely, but I suppose it is easier to just tell the customer to do things from a list of things to do. To me, it seems tech support does not like to actually fix things, even things they break with updates. Anyway, if I can only have one of the two editors, I need to keep GoPro Studio installed, as this is used to export my footage to AVI prior to editing.

It's almost funny in a way. The only reason I purchased this program, as mentioned, was to edit 3D. But the only reason I had to do this, was because Sony Vegas Pro 12.0 does not work well enough (bunch of fixes needed, but not maintained any longer). Since Magix acquired Vegas from Sony, I looked to them for an upgrade path to version 13, but was told it's not available any longer. Seems strange a product is no longer available. I did download the trial of version 14, but the upgrade price was too steep for what it offered. So, did the trial of MEP instead. It did what I needed (even if awkward) so I bought the full program. Now I suppose I could go back to the earlier version I purchased, but it really seems the Magix should fix what they broke to me.

I asked for a refund, seems they are not interested in helping with that either.

Poor way to leave I suppose, but too many things to do to keep beating a dead horse.
