Hi and welcome to the forum.

Use the Slideshow Maker wizard and apply before adding the titles - then add the titles, selecting the image/video clip to which they are applied as shown below

Ok. Got it. So what I did was put my slides in the order I wanted them and then added titles. I then saved the file. I then used the wizard in creating the show. You are saying not to add titles till after I run the wizard?

Hi

. . . . You are saying not to add titles till after I run the wizard? . . . .

Correct, if the wizard creates, for example, a collage including an image that has a title, it may produce and unwanted effect or timing on the title as well

Hi,

What you are creating is actually a video, that is, your slideshow or whatever is on the timeline gets exported to a video file.

So, you are creating your slideshow on the timeline/storyboard in your project. When done, you export. That is your final product - an MP4 file usually or a DVD/BR.

The Slideshow wizard just helps you out by making a semiautomatic slideshow with your material, add some effects, music, etc., that goes to the timeline where you can edit further. So, either use the wizard and then edit, or do everything yourself on the timeline. But, do not create everything on the timeline and then use the wizard as it will change whatever you did, as you found out.

When I put text in a slide the same text will appear in the next slide as well. How do I prevent that.
