Timeline zooming change after 11.0.5.0 update

Pardon me if this has been covered previously, but a quick search uncovered nothing so... In the middle of constructing a photo montage, I updated to the latest patch. (not smart, I know) Now, if I expand the timeline to show 100% of the project, and add another picture, the zoom automatically returns to 7%. As I'm trying to place pictures on the timeline one at a time to separate segments this requires me to hit F after every picture addition. Previously I didn't have to do this. I've searched through settings to see where I might return this to it's old behaviour of staying at 100%, but no joy. Does some other kind soul know what I might be missing?

Regards...Bruce

I haven't tried this so, I will once I verify what version I am running. But I wanted to ask...

Do you have to add in photos on timeline mode?

I am assuming by your reference to "separate segments" is meaning this other tracks being used that contain data.

When I construct a photo slideshow I use the overview mode. This way I can move pictures around in order sequence and if I do go into timeline mode, I usually group all other elements used with a photo together so when moved they all move as a group. This can be tideous, but regardless I will check out what you have posted both to see if I can replicate and hopefully offer a resolution or work around.

I have a directory of pictures that I have edited to all be 640 x 480. Many required retouching, focus, light enhancements, etc. This is for a funeral montage for a friends husband who is close to death but not yet gone. (I have a window but a short one) I was sorting the photos according to how I wanted them arranged in the video, but they came to me in a hodge-podge manner. I just thought it would be the easiest to view them in the preview window, and then place then on the timeline based on where they went in chronological order. This was working fine, my process being zooming out to 100% on the timeline and just adding them one by one. In the middle of doing this I checked to see if there were any updates and lo and behold, there was. I said to myself, "I should wait until I'm done and then update, but no, I couldn't resist and that's when this new behavior exhibited itself. Not a showstopper but just a nuisance and time waster. Hope that all makes sense:)
