Hi!

I have a trial copy and when I add a time lapse avi clip of 30s or less it crashes. The time lapse clips come from a go pro hero 2.  As soon as i drag and drop the clip from the folder to the storyboard the program shuts down.  I have a dell xps 15 with Windows 7 home premium

Need more info... An avi file is a 'container' that can have almost any sort of video and audio formats within. I'd suggest getting the free 'GSpot' program to find out exactly what file types you're using. http://gspot.headbands.com/

Trial version may be missing a particular codec, eg for MPEG4, which you only get when you purchase the program -- licensing restrictions. Usually you'd get an error message saying the file type can't be read rather than a crash.

I see from the Go Pro site that it comes with CineForm editor which it suggests is useful to "...Convert GoPro H.264 MP4s into editor friendly CineForm AVI or MOV files".
