How can I force magix pro to use the first frame of the project as an exported video thumnbnail? It seems to select a random frame, which is used when I create a DVD.
Also, I'd like to rename the exported video - it puts this name in brackets after the project name and uses it for the default "save as" name - how can I alter this?

Second question? I've not got a recent Video Pro X, but in Movie Edit Pro you have three choices for renaming:
1. If VPX shows tabs for each movie in a project (just above the tracks) you can right click and get a 'Rename' option.
2. From the top menu go 'File' >> 'Manage movies' >> Rename...' which will do the same thing.
Either of these ways you have changed the name of the movie and will get that name as the default for the export file.
3. In the export window you can change the name for this export only -- useful if say you want to try several different exports with different settings but not change the name of the movie within the project.
