@captmcnet,

See this answer and read through the thread about the same question that was asked for VPX6.

Most of my comments still pertain.

Since you are new to MEP and maybe video editing, you may be quite far from exhausting the capabilities of MEP2015 Plus. You should take a close look at what VPX7 has that MEP2015Plus does not to determine if you really need these features.

For me, the big selling point was Mercalli V4. To buy it on sale costs the same as the upgrade to VPX7. I have video clips that Mercalli v2 did not fix up to my satisfaction, but v4 did. In addition, there are some New Blue effects that may be useful; haven't tried them yet.

I just deleted mlc9501's answer as it is against our rules and of no use.

@mlc9501:

Video ProX7 apparently works fine in most of the cases. If yours doesn't, you should contact the technical support. Your own PC might be the reason!

To browj2,

Wow! What a great response.  I did click on and review your "this answer" link.

I know I have bearly scratched the surface of MEP 2015 Plus; and I thought seeking the advice of you experienced guys would be a smart approach.   Clearly I will stick with the MEP 2015 Plus for the forseeable future.

Thanks again.

In answer to this guy's message as follows in quotes

It's not my PC. I run software like Cubase Pro 8 and Sony Vegas Pro 13 and let me tell you that I do not experience the crashing problems I just recently experienced with the new version of Magix Video Pro X7.
