There is no sound whatsoever. Please help.

I recently downloaded the trial for Magix Music Maker from the magix website, and the installation went seemingly smoothly.

I open Magix Music Maker for the first time, put in an mp3 (by dragging it from file explorer into the application) and I can't hear anything. I am completely unfamiliar with this program but I pressed the play button and heard nothing, and I checked that the application volume bar was at its highest.

My audio works for other applications, just not this one.

I am on Windows 10, and I have a Logitech G430 headset, plugged in via USB.

Thanks for help.

Hi

Check on the Program Settings, Audio/midi tab, that either Wave driver or Direct sound is selected and the USB headphones or speakers are selected.
