hi bought the magix sound force audio studio 15 from a seller on ebay (authorized) and the unlock key given will not work ? what to do? spent way to much time with all this. asked for a refund and was told they sell directly from magix and I would have to contact them. so here I am trying again. please help.
Welcome to the Magix user to user forums. Sorry to hear about the problem you are experiencing.
Whoever the seller may be and whether or not he/she does sell directly from Magix, he/she is responsible for ensuring that what you bought actually works. You need to explain quite clearly that you cannot run the software because the supplied serial key does not work. If he/she refuses to help you should raise a dispute with EBay.
As a matter of interest, who is the seller? Did you check that the price listed was at least as cheap as you would pay if you had bought directly from Magix?
Just to clarify: no one here nor any Magix staff can do anything to help you; the EBay seller “bought” the software from Magix. If it is in any way “faulty” he/she must pursue this with Magix.

The activation code and the email address are paired when Sound Forge is initially registered..If the seller (or someone else) has previously registered the software, you will need the email address that was used, or the person with the Magix account it is registered to will need to change it to yours.
