Anyone Know ?

Hi,

I'm glad that you came back and insisted. Many people do not.

As far as I can say, you cannot get a 9/8 time signature in Music Maker. Music Maker is rather limited in what it can do.

However, you can get 9/8 signature with Samplitude Music Studio and Music Studio 2. Perhaps you obtained Music Studio with Music Maker? If so try it. If not, download the trial.

Given that you want to play complicated pieces, you should think of getting Samplitude Music Studio. It is quite powerfull and allows you to create or view music notation, as well as multi-track recording. Music Maker 2015 Premium allow 2 simultaneous track recording, I believe, whereas Samplitude Music Studio offers more. Music Maker 2014 only offers single track recording.

Please let me know what you decide.

Regards,

Hi,

In Samplitude Music Studio (2015 is what I have), go to the top menu, Edit, Tempo, Time signature change. You should be able to type in 9/8 in the box as shown below. Press ok. It should show up in the Time signature box.

Wow John Thanks This İs Great Really thanks :) İ Have A New Question For You :) Can i Use The vst technology İn Samplitude Music Studio ? Or Only track Recording ?

browj2 wrote on 11/3/2014, 11:14 AM

Hi,

Yes, VST's all work. I have both MMM and SMS and the instruments and synthesizers are the same in both, except that I acquired the 12GB version of Independence with one of the updates of SMS, so I have more with SMS than MMM. I think that I may also have more effects in SMS; I should check the differences.

All soundpools work with both products.

SMS2015 has a new look but retains everything from the previous version. Check out my comments on this by searching on this forum or as answers under my screen name profile. Also, you should review the details, features, specifications and tutorials for SMS2015 on the Magix.com website.

There is also Samplitude Pro, which is quite expensive, and there is a forum dedicated to this product. Because SMS is the same product with less features, the forum is quite useful. Also, Kraznet has produced more than 150 tutorials, many of which apply to SMS. You can look him up in YouTube
