Hello,

Magix Deluxe 17

The sound and the image, by times are not synchronized, in simultaneous.

This problem is aggravated when I divide the scenes and I eliminate a part, where the sound is not in accordance with the image. e I have care to group the sound before and the image will be códec?

Camcorder and digital.

I am Portuguese, sorry for writing

Thank you .

I'm having the same problem.  I use a SONY DCR-SR20E which records the audio in dolby digital.  When I import the video and try to edit it, the sound and video does not sync.  It looks like the video frames are dropped to try and keep up with the sound and at the end of the clip the screen goes blank for a second and the beginning of the clip shows again stuck in some short loop until the file is done playing.

I have MAGIX Edit Pro 17hd.

Sorry I can't help you, but hope that if I add my voice, someone will respond.

Please MAGIX, this is a serious problem and your help here will be appreciated!

Thanks.

Hi there again.

I did some more digging and followed advice given in this forum which seems to work very well.  Right Click on the video clip and select "create frame table (new)".  This then syncs the audio and video perfectly.  Unfortunately you have to do this with every clip you put into the timeline, which is a schlep, but at least it works.

Now Magix can write a program update to solve this problem so we don't have to right click all the time...
