The acceleration of the hardware has been removed from use

I have an updated version of Magix Pro Plus 2016. (My former MEP was Edit Pro 2016).

My configuration:

HP Pavilion 500-204 eo / Windows 10 Home/ 64 bits

Processor: AMD A 10-6700 APU with Radeon (tm) HD Graphics 3.70 GHz

Graphics software: AMD Radeon R7 240 version 21.19.142.257 (29.9.2016)

After a short working period Magix informed that "The acceleration of the hardware has been removed from use. Potential reasons: Incompatible graphics card drivers or graphics hardware, which doesn´t meet requirements of the application. Make sure that the latest drivers have been installed for the graphics card."

I checked the drivers and noted that they are up to date.

I have never had this problem with my former MEP although the operating system has been the same. Working with acceleration removed is impossible. Can somebody tell me what to do?

Are there some differences between those two Magix applications what comes to acceleration and drivers?

Matti

Hi

See this rather long discussion on this topic.

In brief AMD R7 200 series graphics cards are not compatible with hardware acceleration.

For HWA a compatible graphics card is required as you do not have an Intel i series processor see the discussion for a list of compatible cards.
