For some reason, IT reports I am not logged in as system administrator. I am the only user on this computer. I also KNOW this because I cannot Log Out. I cannot do things unless I am Sys Admin
I want to edit audio files from Magix Movie Studio 15 in Sound Forge, but it won't let me. I always get the need to sign in as administrator message and then nothing. It has gotten to where I don't want to do work-arounds. How do I just click (in Movie Studio) on the "Open in Sound Forge XP" and get on with my work? Do I need a new version?
I am not familiar with Sound Forge XP except it is a dinosaur, so a later version of Sound Forge would help. If you have a valid serial code for SFXP, you can get the 'Upgrade' discount on the current version of SF Pro or Audio Studio (17).
Open a new topic in the Movie Studio users group regarding "Open in Sound Forge", That said, if MS is similar to Vegas, there is a setting in the "Options> Preferences> Audio" menu for the preferred audio editor. but if SF won't open normally you will probably get the same 'administrator' message.
