Synthesiser

Can anyone recommend a hardware synth that I can use with Music Maker? I particularly want the resonance knob on a synth to be able to change the tone and freq of what I will be playing but as long as it works with Music maker.

I tried a donner B1 and it didnt work, so am looking for recommendations. Also..... I am assuming that USB is the best bet when it comes to connectivity with Music maker from the hardware synth.

Thanks in advance for anyones help with this. 😀

@David-Pook This is not how this works. Your synth can either send MIDI messages to Music Maker or an audio signal (its own sounds).

If you have a VST instrument or effect with a resonance/frequency/tone setting you can try to map it to the knobs of your synth. Music Maker is very limited in this regard. For example, Magix Vita Instruments offer mapping via a right click on a control (knob, fader etc). For other VSTs this might be different, always depending on the VST, or not possible at all.

If you want to freely map knobs to incoming MIDI signals, you'll need Samplitude (Music Studio).
