Support Sucks - I need help

ThatMarsguy wrote on 8/2/2020, 12:34 PM

I purchase the Movie Bundle by MAGIX from a 3rd party site, and when creating my account to generate my download link, I made a typo. My link is now going somewhere random, but I then, corrected the email. Now there is no way for me to resend that link to the correct email, and the support pages are ass and do not help me. The chat link in the footer of the page keeps saying "check internet connection" which clearly I don't have a problem with since I'm making this post.... HELP

@ThatMarsguy

Try logging in to https://support2.magix.com/customer/index.php using the "wrong" email address. Once logged in contact Sales and explain the problem.

That no longer works because I've changed the email on that account to the correct one already. The "wrong" email now is no longer associated with an account.

@ThatMarsguy

So, have you tried logging in with the now-correct address and then choosing the option to contact Sales and explain the problem?

EDIT: Just to add that your thread title of "Support Sucks" is rather inappropriate here! The problem was caused by your own error, as you admit. I know of no company's support system that can deal with such a problem "automatically" as you seem to imply; the only solution is in the hands of the person who made the original mistake.

I accept it may not be "easy" to contact Support but to say "Support Sucks" ..... 😀
