Stuttering Video Files on Import

Joshua-Burner wrote on 12/6/2020, 9:00 PM

My files keep stuttering in the editor and the export. I've tried so many different things to stop it; run the core files through handbrake, changed the color space, changed the framerate, I'm really frustrated because I used to be able to just rip what I need straight from YouTube and make a video with no fuss, but as the years go by it feels like that's becoming harder and harder.

Here are my specs:

SPECS: Win 10 Home 21H2, 64 Bit system x64 Processor, AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 8-Core Processor 3.59 Ghz, 24 GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, B450 AORUS ELITE motherboard
PROGRAMS: Video Pro X 19.0.2.155 (UDP3) win UG code 8459 KA1

@Joshua-Burner

Two critical pieces of information are missing from your post:

  1. Exactly which version and build of VPX are you running?
  2. Details about the file you are importing. The free MediaInfo Utility Text view will give us a lot more information about it.

One thing I notice from your spec., your version of Win 10 is now rather "old". Any reason why you have not updated?

Are you monitoring this discussion (the last few pages) :-https://www.magix.info/us/forum/movie-edit-pro-2021-is-out-new-features--1252229/ and can you add anything there?
