@Lynda-Cromar

Hello, Welcome

Correct me if I am wrong, but are they not two entirely different entities of software development in programming and coding etc.

Vegas Movie Studio was previously owned by Sony and Video Pro X by Magix.

As you have mentioned Video Pro X, maybe someone will expand on my response.

@Lynda-Cromar

@PATIENT-X is quite correct. Movie Studio is part of the Magix Vegas range; Video Pro X is one of the original Magix product range.

Whether there is an upgrade path between the two I am doubtful but you could always email infoservice@magix.net and ask about any "crossgrade" discount that might be offered.
