Stop Magix Pop-Up on Startup

POTW wrote on 5/13/2020, 3:10 PM

Every time that I start up my computer, there is a large square Magix sales ad selling the download of the new version. This appears in the lower right corner of my screen. Can someone point me in the right direction to stop this loading every time I start my computer. I have gone to the windows startup list and Photostory is not listed there. Any ideas?

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

@POTW

Unless you are using Camera MX to transfer video and image files from your mobile to the PC, uninstall Update Notifier.

If you do use it, open Update Notifier and disable all entries under Info channels

Do note:

  1. if you upgrade or install other Magix programs it will reappear.
  2. in case yours is an older version of the software, Update Notifier was also known as Magix Connect, Connect and Network Sync
