Hello.

I am new in the forum and my problem is about the version of Vegas products. There is a sale now on Steam platform and Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum costs only 116 PLN (31.50 dollars) and I have a medium experience with Vegas pro 17 and 18 when it comes to basic editing videos such as creating memes from games (I know, it is not so professional edition but at least for me it is the first step to accustom with the program). I am wondering.... if the Vegas MS 17 platinum differs a lot from Vegas pro. I searched on Google that it is a limit of timeline tracks but I do not use them very much (maybe 4-5 max) and I usually use in-built transitions such as Chroma Keyer or Color corrector. In my future plans, I am thinking about using VHS effects or retro ones. I only require GPU acceleration because of my laptop specs (i5-8300h and GTX 1650 with 16 GB of ram). Could someone help me in choosing the type of vegas program or if someone used/uses both, will you tell me the biggest differences between them?

Edit: I found also a threat that products bought on Steam do not include the serial number and there is no support neither Steam nor Magix. I cannot confirm that but maybe the case is different?
