Status format for 23.976? scott-l6154 wrote on 9/23/2024, 5:04 PM Can anyone tell me if Magix has added 23.976 (23.98) to their time/status formats? Been using 24fps smpte film sync but is not what is needed as today's productions are mostly 23.976fps. Also is there a way to assign a timecode start to a track? Thanks- Scott Back to post

TC metadata can be changed in existing BWF files, I think Sound Devices 'Wave Agent' can transcode a WAV to BWF. scott-l6154 wrote on 9/24/2024, 3:58 PM Thanks for the response! 23.976 would be a Non-Drop format. Current options are (under OPTIONS/Status Format pull-down menu...) Samples Time Seconds Time & Frames Absolute Frames Measures & Beats SMPTE Film Sync (24fps) SMPTE EBU (25fps) SMPTE Non-Drop (29.97 Video) SMPTE Drop (29.97fps, Video) SMPTE 30 (30fps, Audio) Audio CD Time 23.976 fps is an industry standard and it should be in the option list! 1
