Situation as follows using windows 10: Click on startup of Music Maker (part of Movie Studio 16) "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR120.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.
This has been completed multiple times, and the same error message occurs.

MSVCR120.dll is a Windows system file, not a constituent of Music Maker, although clearly required by it!
Read this page on the Microsoft Answers web site and follow the guidance offered there, especially the final post which tells you how to use the "SFC /scannow" routine to fully check your Windows installation and to repair it.
