So I was at the end of a project and 2 things became clear.
1. The start and end marker was frozen as a single square and couldn't be accessed. I closed and opened the file, no change.
2. In the "last opened" window when you open the program, the most recent project is not appearing.
@Eleyan Click on the magnifying glass icon in the bottom right corner of the arranger window and then switch to another view mode. This should reset the yellow loop bar.
I'm not sure why your most recent project isn't showing up. Maybe you need to save it in the standard project folder specified in Folders tab in the program settings?
