Stability Issues

I am having horrible stability issues with the new Acid Pro 10. I have been using it for a month now and it randomly crashing while adding loops to build a track. It will randomly stop playing sound when I start playback the second or third time, which also crashes the file as well. I save before I press play to save headache. It crashes when adding effects to tracks. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, but the issues always come back.

I have windows 10 with an AMD Ryzen 6 Core Processor, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD, 2TB HDD, Behringer Audio Interface, so this should work without issue. It's limping instead of running.

Any ideas of how to fix these issues?

I have virtually the same set up except I use an RME interface, considering you're using a Behringer interface (ASIO driver) try using the Microsoft Audio driver and see what results you get.

Hey -- Sorry to hear about your issues. I've been using Acid since it debuted in 1997 (little old ugly yellow DVD package) V1. Since that time, I've been on the roller coaster of trying to build a music / dj career. The car I've ridden that roller coaster on is built by Acid (originally Sonic Foundry, then Sony and now Magix). In all that time, there is one thing that has always remained a constant: Acid works MUCH better with Intel processors. I know that sounds like a d*ck reply, and I'm sorry ... but it has proven true time and time again. Best of luck with your setups. Keep poking around on the sites of AMD and the mfgr of your computer's motherboard for chipset updates -- and of course your BIOS should be current as well.

My setup is a joke comparatively: Windows 10, Intel Quad 2.3 processor, 12gb ddram and 2TB SSD. (insert laughter here: Traktor Audio dj 2 sound module and a Edirol PCR-500 midi controller (essentially USELESS --- Roland dropped any and all support for it). BUT -- I've still gotten a few tracks out the door. So keep at it!
