Spilt does not happen exactly on the beat

I have noticed that sometimes when I split an audio clip, it does not happen exactly on the beat marker. Hence, when I copy clips, they are slightly off in timing.

Anyone else have this problem and any suggestions for solutions?

Yes, the problem happens even with grid snapping on ... the amount is small, say .013 of a beat, but it's enough to throw the timing off ( plus it accumulates if you copy and paste the clip).

I suspect it is a bug and for the moment, I go in and manually edit the clip using the Object Editor, but it is a real pain ....
