Space Pad "installation failed"

I get the same message when trying to install Space Pad instrument in Music Maker Version 25.0.1.33 on both Laptop and Desktop.

Laptop Lenovo Notebook, 6GB Ram, Intel Pentium CPU 2020M @2.40GHz Processor, 64-bit Operating System, Windows 8.1
Desktop Lenovo A10 300, 8GB Ram, Intel Pentium CPU 4405U @2.10GHz Processor, 64-bit Operating System, Windows 10

The Space Pad did work initially on the Desktop but every time I closed the programme the next time I opened it the Space Pad was missing and had to be uninstalled and then reinstall to get it back. It stopped working completely yesterday and just sent error messages (see second screen shot below). So I uninstalled everything and started from scratch and now get the "installation failed" message. I installed it yesterday on my laptop to see if it would work on there but the same message comes up on both computers. The Space Pad demo plays fine on both laptop and desktop.

Any help/guidance will be very gratefully received!

Please someone that knows how to fix this problem respond! I'm having the same with the Rock Drums! I feel like a stupid sucker atm spending cash on a program that's not working...I've spent around 6 hours trying to fix this issue

Is this the free version of Music Maker?

Did you click the Auto find button in the dialog?

Do you have a link under Help, Upgrade program/Upgrade functions, Download free synthesizers and sound packages.

Are you using the same version of the program as the OP. If not post the programs full name and version number as it appears under Help, About . . . and give more details of any error message you are getting

I would also suggest you raise a support request here.

I feel it's the server side sending a corrupted file - I just downloaded Cinematic soundscape, downloaded and installed fine, working as intended - Rock drums is broken , fails to download

and that's the prime reason I'm wanting to use this software...drums and record guitar - I bought the cinesoundscape due to coupons etc

Though I'll follow what you said and send in a support

So annoying >< the one and only thing I really wanted to use isn't working...couldn't be Revolta 2 or concert grand piano... no! my new paid drumkit...ffs the program is working fine though. just that 1 smelly thing which is just a pain in the ass

That is one of the issues I was suspecting, hence the advice to send in a support request.

You do not need to get a refund, you have bought a licence for the software.

Email sales at magix.com, give the full program name and version, details of the problem, include your serial number and that you would like to have the disc for the same version. There may be a small charge for the disc. Your licence should be good as the only difference (AFAIK) is the disc version has the extra packages with it.

Once you have the disc follow this procedure for un-installing and re-installing from disc, it will also check your Windows 10 installation, if you are installing on the Windows 8.1 computer then you can skip steps 3 to 10.

Magix Music Maker just released an update, everything seems to be working correctly. Hope you have fun with your spacepads :) loui-hilli
