@RDL-Livernois

Hi

I cannot replicate this, however, check that the Source monitor is set to Display source image only - shortcut Shift + ,

Thanks for the quick reply. I had no luck with that suggestion, however, I am able to multi-cam edit, but the Program window contains all cameras. I even upgraded to Video Pro X16 thinking that would help, but it did not. Another thought...what should the settings be for the source tracks for solo, track visibility, etc.? When in multi-cam, I can only get them to show up on the source and program monitors when I have each track soloed with the green S. For example, as I solo each track with the green S, they begin to appear in both monitors. I fear this is something simple I am overlooking. One last thought does the format of the video file matter as I am using mP4 files?

Hi

. . . . does the format of the video file matter as I am using mP4 files . . . .

No, any supported video, or image, format can be used.

This is what I see, and do, when multicam editing:

As you can see no tracks are soloed, and nothing appears in the Program monitor until the first clip is selected.

If you multicam does not behave like the above, post a screenshot of the whole program interface.

@RDL-Livernois

I tested multicam on VPX16 and I get the same results as @johnebaker. Maybe you can load a sample video or screenshot of what you are experiencing.

@johnebaker and @Can-Dive - I got it to work correctly! It is either one of two things that solved it. 1) When entering multi-cam mode, the program moves whatever is on track 1 and 2 down to make room for the edited master track. If I add the tracks myself, before entering multicam, that may have done something. 2) If I import the video files into the project folder and not have them located elsewhere that may be it too. Beyond that I have no idea... Thanks for all of the follow-up.
