I know I have asked relatable questions in the past, but i forgot to ask one more question.. is there anyway possible to sell beats that I've put together using these commercial royalty free soundpools, and paying the creators of the soundpool package a percentage of what I make? I just have to ask, i have created some bangers that have potential to make money

Ok, i was just confused because I read the terms on commercial licensed royalty free soundpools and seen this

Our "commercial licenses”, on the other hand, grants you permission to commercially exploit our content within your work. Simply put, if you use any of our content to make money in any way, a commercial license is required.
A few examples of where a commercial license is required include:

"The sale or streaming of songs that have been produced using a Soundpool"

[...] exploit our content within your work [...]

It is not your work anymore if others make a full song out of it. They need also the commercial license. The direct or indirect sale of the content is generally prohibited. What you want to do is indirectly resell the soundpool content to others. That is not possible. They need to buy a commercial Soundpool license too. And when they buy one, they don't need to pay you anymore since they can make the songs themselves.

What you can do is to create a music project with another artist and buy a commercial license for your project with this artist. Then you need to buy a new commercial license for each collaboration you are doing. This should work out fine in license terms.

  1. Make a song out of a Soundpool.
  2. Show the song to other artists.
  3. If they like it, create a band or one-song collaboration project with other artists.
  4. Buy the commercial license in the name of your project. Done.

Ok thanks for the info, i see under the instruments in Magix they all say commercial (royalty free) as well. I find Magix to be somewhat confusing, or maybe I am just new to all of this. Now if I make my own beats using my midi keyboard and these commercial royalty free instruments, can I use them for profit or do the same rules apply?
