Soundpools

Yesterday I downloaded a soundpool: Tears of Salvation. This morning when opening my project I found all Instruments from this pool missing although listed, I followed the styles reload ...it showed the files being loaded but unable to open. I found the files only to discover that for some unknown reason (to me) the msi file was missing (key).

Could some nice knowledgeable person please help me with this as I am not happy about loosing my 30 bucks.

Thanking you in advance...... (Music Maker Premium 2017)

Two things happened yesterday.....There was a major update..in which in part the Store was taken out of the program...and access is now from a separate window instead of being integrated, and I downloaded the soundpool...It appears that in the transition the file was lost. Make sense to anybody ?

Hi

. . . . it showed the files being loaded but unable to open . . . .

What as the error message?

. . . . There was a major update..in which in part the Store was taken out of the program . . . .

The Store is still there after the update as you can see below

During the update process the 'New update available' dialog has an option for Transfer program information depending on whether this was checked or not then the following may have occurred:

  1. Option checked:

It is possible that Windows has reverted back to an earlier Restore point or the MMM Premium installation has been reset during the update, possibly because there was already an issue with the installation before the update.

  2. Option not checked:

MMM Premium would have been reset and asked you to register the software and activate again, also has any added Soundpools and extras will have to be installed again.

In either case if you are using Windows 10, re-install the program using this procedure.

If you are on Windows 7 or 8 then use the above procedure except ignore step 3 and step 4 becomes - press the Windows key + R, in the Run dialog that opens type cmd and press Enter then continue to step 5
