soundlevel adjustment in Photostory de luxe 2015

knud-nielsen wrote on 10/22/2021, 3:58 AM

Hello

And another thing: I have added music to the show from a USB stick and of course saved it, but when I open the unfinished show the music is gone. I need to connect the USB stick again to get the music, but when I have finished my show I can not have the musicUSB stick with me. How can I permenently have the music in the show when I close it ?

med venlig hilsen

Hi,

Please watch my tutorials on Getting Started in Movie Edit Pro - in particular part 3 to get a basic understanding as to how a video editing program works.

All material - photos, videos and audio files are used by the program. Even though you "import" them, they are not actually in the program. The program knows where they are (path and filename) and uses/loads them each time you open a project. They have to remain on your hard drive at the same location otherwise the program cannot find them, as you found out.

Copy the audio file to your hard drive (not desktop) and use that in your project, not the one that is on the removable USB stick. Do not move or delete the audio file until your project has been completed (or keep it or back it up somewhere). This applies equally to any photos and videos used in the project.

...but when I have finished my show I can not have the musicUSB stick with me.

Finished means that you have exported to a usable file like MP4. Once you have exported, then you don't need the project anymore, but you should back up the project and all material used in case you ever need to go back and edit the project. The project is not a finished product - the exported file MP4 is the finished product.

Hej John

I still have some problems to save my unfinished show the right place. I have understand to send it to HD on the computer in some map ( picture/documents/video/music). But when I am not finished programming and want to go back to any more editering, had I to save in "project mph or i all files ? maybe in both of them? Is it possibly to save in a extern HD or US stick when I am finished with all programming and want to play back on TV from them instead from my laptop. Of course in MP4 quality? Or prefer you to play back from a laptop via cable in high quality HDMI.

my best greetings

Hi.

storyboardproblemer.

Can slow down how fast the images move. I have a show going on with hundreds of pictures and sometimes have to go from the first ones to somewhere in the middle of the show, but due to the fact that the move happens so fast, I often do not manage to slow down in the right place. It's very annoying. I have set the image transfer to a slower speed?

There are several ways to scroll along the timeline in both Storyboard and timeline mode without playing the slideshow

In order of ease of control:

  1. Use the mouse wheel if your mouse has one

  2. Zoom in on the timeline and drag the bar indicated in the image below

  3. use the left/right arrow keys - adjust the zoom to suit the speed at which you want to scroll.
