soundforge 18 doesn't want to reactivate after re-installation

I have the last vegas post pro version and i need to reinstall in a new machine. Soundforge 18 contained in the installation pack doesn't activate using the serial number emailed me. It seems to be the serial number of the version 17, but in the installation pack there is the 18, of course. It works in the previous installation... please help.

Hi @Valerio-Pappacena, Are you using your correct email address when activating? The serial activation code and your email address are paired.
Do you have the subscription version Sound Forge Pro 365? Or did you purchase the perpetual version of SFP-18? A serial code for SFP-17 will not activate SFP-18 and a serial code for SF Audio Studio would not activate a pro version either (or visa-versa).
