Having just reinstalled audio cleaning lab 15 to my new windows 8 laptop I am now struggling to record without music sounding like it is being played in the swimming pool. The level controll seems ok so not sure why this is?
Need a little/lot more information to make a good guess....recording what ? CD...78rpm LP,....cassette ? It could be you haave a filter setting thats wrong. If the ACLab worked in a prior configuration you may havae to do a re-load of athe program and see if the issue just goes away....does happen sometimes

Part 2....I might also suggest you check settings on tahe New computer.....ACLab worked before athe new computaer was introduced....juust another thought
Ok. I am recording from cd/internet. I have 2 options to record from, internal mic or stereo mix. I have changed it to stereo mix as the recording source and this seems to have resolved the muffled recording. However the level control is too low. The level is at 100 on settings but I can only seem to adjust the level control coming through audio lab by increasing the volume on the computer (not practical!) so at the moment unless I have the music blaring out the level control is saying "too low". Thanks for your help
