I recorded an album that has 8 musical tracks. How can I have Sound Forge split and save the 8 tracks to 8 individual MP3 files so when I download them to my iPhone I can have my iPhone play them randomly?
In Sound Forge Pro, there is a "Save regions as files" script and a "Extract regions" process (both in the 'Tools 'menu . Then batch convert the extracted PCM files to MP3. Otherwise, with only eight songs, it may be not take much longer to select one song at a time, select "Edit> Trim" and 'Save as' an MP3... repeat, repeat. There are other options which I do not recall off-hand. To create a region, highlight the song on the timeline and select "Edit> Regions list> Insert" (keyboard shortcut= 'R' ).
I do not know what options are available in (Audio Studio).. aside from the 'Edit> Trim > Save as'.
