Sound Forge Pro 14 Hangs during Initializing audio engine. My OS is Windows 10 with all updates. I am installing Sound Forge Pro 14 as part of a new Vegas Post Suite installation.
Can we assume you have re-booted the PC after installation? Does Vegas run and playback audio normally? Is this onlt when Vegas is open? Is there another audio app running in the backround?

I got this solution from Magic Pro Support: It worked.
Hold CNTRL + Shift and double click on the Sound Forge startup icon. It will ask 'Do you want to reset all Sound Forge Pro preferences to default values? You should check the box that says 'Delete all cached application data' and then click 'Yes'. Then try again to open the program.
The same 'factory reset' is in the Sound Forge 'File' menu.. assuming of course SF is already opens .
