@Jim-Goodman You probably need to reinstall the software. First uninstall it, then reinstall it. You can get the installer from your user account at https://www.magix.com/int/support/my-service-center/

You can also use a free tool like Revo Uninstaller to uninstall Sound Forge and completely remove all leftover files and registry entries. This could be helpful if a normal uninstallation doesn't work.

Hi @Jim-Goodman, I would first try "Reset and clear cached data". If SF-13 does not have the reset command in the File menu, or if SF cannot be opened, holding the "Ctrl + Shift" keys whilst launching Sound Forge will bring up the reset command options.
See this recent thread as well, which resolved the user's 'error 59' issue.

I do not think being in the Philippines has anything to do with it.. though SF does need to connect to the internet occasionally to verify some codec licenses.
