Any news on status of Sound Forge 12?

I've just upgraded to Sound Forge 11 due to the November discount (inc. Variverb II), but was surprised to see it still only supports 32 bit plugins, so I could have stuck with version 9 for a little longer? 😢

I don't find 32 bit audio plug-ins a disadvantage.. unless of course the desired plug-in is not available in 32 bit, which most are at this point. I assume render speeds would be 'about' the same, based on my experiments with 32 and 64bit Vegas versions and 32/64 plugins (Waves, Plugin Alliance, iZotope, ect.)

OTOH, It is my 'guess', SF Pro 12 will be released some time in the first quarter of 2018. According to (unnamed) 'sources', it is currently in development and will be available to the beta test team soon.

If the lack of 64 bit plugin support presents problems jbridge is an extremely useful utility that enables such plugs to work in a 32 bit environment. It can also enable 32 bit plugs to work in a 64 bit environment.
