Sound Forge doesn't work after upgrading to Big Sur - help!

I have been using Sound Forge 2 for Mac since 2015 and everything was working fine until I recently upgraded to Big Sur OS. Now when I try to launch the Sound Forge app, it gives an error message: "Sound Forge quit unexpectedly. ... Reopen/Report/Ignore"

How can I get my Sound Forge software working on Mac OS Big Sur? I hope I can retain my license that I purchased in 2015, and not have to re-purchase the entire product again for $300!

@Doug-Timpe Sound Forge is not compatible with Big Sur or Catalina. You need to downgrade your Mac OS or use a separate installation with an older Mac OS version for Sound Forge.
