So yeah...found that the same error is being had by Vegas users...they say that setting the properties of the app to 8 bit 265 colors will fix...indeed it does...not a real problem with SF but if you are doing videos in Vegas, that can be a real pain...

Dear forum members

Sorry for hitchhiking this thread, but it seems to be impossible now to create new threads but commenting works. Please forum staff, fix it.

But I am looking for a solution for the following issue.

The bug which is alive since SF 9 still exists and destroyed files recently. Last one was a 24bit flac at 44.1k.
You can read about it in the folowing links:
http://forum-archive.magix.info/showmessage.asp?messageid=638174

http://forum-archive.magix.info/showmessage.asp?messageid=906850
http://forum-archive.magix.info/showmessage.asp?messageid=840079

So, if you have .a workaround for the issue mentioned above I would be very pleased.

Audacity's recent version has no problems like this with the same file. And that is for free and does not rip off customers 199€ for service updates.

Best regards

Hi

@ ReverendLove

. . . . Sorry for hitchhiking this thread, but it seems to be impossible now to create new threads . . . .

Hijacking or hitch hiking on another users question is bad forum etiquette however - did you click the New Comment button, shown below, at the top of the page?

I know, but it is impossible to write new threads, So my "attitude" isn't that bad as it seems. Every attempt to write a new thread was responded by a redirection to "https://www.magix.info/". I did click your mentioned button in the upper left beside my personal icon and tried several times.
I even tried to send a support ticket. But this isn't working too. Clicking on "Nothing from this helps to solve my problem and I want to send a request." nothing happens. I am not behind a proxy or blocking sth here.
Very frustrating as it seems magix blocks support for my issues.

Without more information, this has been a PITA for me with some Magix and other programs and I suspect the cause may be the same for you issue.

My issues started when I upgraded from Windows 7 or 8 to Window 10, when the Windows 10 Anniversary update was applied - the latter update affected fewer programs.

Assuming you are also on Windows 10, the only fix is to un-install, clean out the remnants of the program left behind by the uninstaller, run a syscheck on the Windows installation and then re-install - following this procedure.
