Sound Forge Crashes every time I try to open it

I recently installed SOUND FORGE Audio Studio 16 on my pc. I get through the install but afterwards when i try to open it, it starts the boot process for the application but then asks to send an error report and crashes. This is the 64 bit version and i have already tried uninstalling and re-installing but still get the same issue after the install and product registration completes. Attached is a visual of what happens and listed below are the pc specs. All other MAGIX programs work fine, except this one.

Try resetting Sound Forge and clearing the cache, which is usually executed with 'File> "Reset all preferences and clear cached data" menu ... but since SF will not launch: Hold down the 'Ctrl+Shift' keys, whilst launching Sound Forge which should open the reset tool.

If you cannot reset SF, or it does not help, uninstall - reinstall again, but use a third-party uninstaller like 'Revo Uninstall' which can remove the left-over registry entries and other pertinent data the default uninstall leaves behind, causing issues to reoccur.. I recommend using Revo's 'Advanced' scan mode. Revo Uninstall has a pro and freeware versions. The free version is adequate in most cases unless a 'forced' uninstall is needed.

If all else fails, try emailing Magix at: infoservice@magix.net .. or request a support ticket.
Magix's support request procedure was recently revised, so peruse the new instructions,

@Demone-Astaroth You need to contact support like @rraud suggested. Since we are only users, nobody here can help you with invalid serial numbers except giving you the tip to make sure that you enter it correctly. Or do you have a voucher code that needs to be redeemed before you get a real serial number? Let us know.

it is not accepting a serial number i have from the store and saying its invalid,

Hi @Demone-Astaroth, as @SP. stated, if you purchased Sound Forge from a third-party seller (Best Buy or Musician's Friend for instance) you need to redeem the Voucher code to get the actual serial from Magix
See the redeem instructions from Magix:
https://www.magix.info/us/support/article/how-can-i-redeem-my-voucher--1584/

Once you have the SF activation serial, be sure you save it along with the email address you used for registration. The serial and your email address are paired and must be used together to reactivate or activate SF on a second PC.
