@CURTIS-DOSTER

Welcome to the Magix forums.

No, I haven't seen this problem but I tend to import files rather than recording direct into SFACL2.

To help you we really need a lot more information from you! Please read this post and give us full information about your computer and especially its audio interface and how, exactly, you have everything set up to record audio into SFACL2.

I have a Dell Inspiron 3670. The audio output works but when I try to use the mic input on the back of the computer to import music from any device I get no recording into the program. We have tried everything on the computer that has to do with audio input and trouble shooter shows that all are working properly except it shows that the mic is not plugged in. I have had 3 of the Magix Audio Cleaning Lab in the past and have had no problems. The computer was just purchased at the beginning of June 2020 and has Windows 10 and I just purchased this Sound Force Audio Cleaning Lab 2 to upgrade. I am very disappointed that it does not work like the older programs did.

Hi

What equipment are you connecting to the MIC in?

Try using the Line in input - you will be overloading the mic input if the device is a recorder or audio interface/preamp.

Also ensure that the correct input enabled for recording in Windows and is selected in ACL.

Thank you for your response. I have a Peavey mixer board hooked up to the computer. It is the same equipment that I had hooked up to my other programs and I hooked them up the exact same way. Never had any problems until I got a new computer and updated to this ACL. Checked everything that you mentioned and everything is working as it should but I still have no music after I record it.

Hi

In Windows 10, Settings, Privacy are Apps allowed to use the microphone?
