Sound Forge Audio Studio 15 - status of certain menu items not reading

CyberBeat wrote on 3/11/2021, 4:06 PM

Greetings,

I'm currently using the latest version of Sound Forge Audio Studio 15. I'm visually impaired and use a screen reader to access this program. For some reason certain items under the Options drop-down menu will not announce when they are checked. For example, the options for "Loop Playback", "Seek cursor on playback", "Scroll playback" And "Scroll smoothly". As a result I have no way of telling whether they are enabled or not. On the other hand, most other items in the menus speak when they are checked with no problem. I realize this is a unique question for this forum, but is there anything that looks different visually about the items I mentioned above or anything you could offer me that might help?

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried the tech support site many times and have gotten absolutely no where. What I need is to find a direct contact for accessibility issues regarding Sound Forge. Any ideas?

@CyberBeat try emailing customer service at infoservice@magix.net

Requesting a support ticket is confusing with many un-intuitive steps.
