Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 & 12 ASIO

Hi !

I have one question about recognizing and loading ASIO from my sound cards.

Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 recognizes ASIO right away and loading it.

Sound Forge Audio Studio 12 doesn't recognize ASIO and writes error loading it.

Steinberg Cubase Elements 9.5 recognize ASIO right away.

Steinberg Cubase Elements 12 doesn't recognize ASIO.

I have tried with clean install first on Windows 10 Pro 64bit and today I

have upgraded my version to Windows 11 Pro 64bit.

Results are exactly the same on both versions of Windows.

Anyone has any experiences with that, what could be different between those versions in recognizing

ASIO drivers ?

Thanks

Have you tried other ASIO drivers like ASIO-4-ALL ?

Audio Studio 12 was a single unique 'odd ball' version of Sound Forge.
I am not familiar with Cubase.

ASIO is not usually necessary for an audio editing app.

Thanks for your reply !

Yea, true about 12 version was very odd one :)

But , I have version 10 which I like for what I need, normally just for editing wav files.

Yea, i know i can edit wavs also without ASIO.

It must be working ASIO for my sound cards, ASIO Scope PCI.
