Sound Forge 12 Auto-Play a single event selected in explorer menu

When I select (single click) an audio file in Sound Forge Audio Studio 12 Explorer it does not Auto-Play as it always did in previous versions.

There is a setting in Options / Preferences / Program / General "Auto play on External launch" ticked but this does not appear to be the solution.

By double-clicking the audio event in Explorer the file will open on the SF timeline. But if it is not the file required at the time, it has to be closed and the search continues.

The feature of Auto-Play when browsing Explorer is invaluable if looking for a specific file without knowing the title or file name, the first few notes can be a great indicator of whether it is the correct choice or not.

In the current build (12.0.0.272), the sub window in the lower right of the 'Open' window has Play/Stop transport, counter, scroll bar and the auto play check box. When checked, this plays the selected file directly from the explorer w/o putting it on the timeline.

You can check/update to the latest build in "Help> Update online"
