Sound and titles are not on DVD after burn

I'm a new user and this is my first project. I've created a slideshow with titles and backround music. It plays perfectly in the preview, shows the tiltes and the backround music is there. When I burn a DVD there is no music or titles in the show. I know the burner is good as I create mucis CD's frequently. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

If the resulting disc plays on your DVD player but doesn't have titles or music, this definitely doesn't sound like a technical problem. Sounds like you have possibly burned the wrong kind of medium from the program (e.g. a JPEG disc). Please make sure that you're using the "Burn" stage of the program to author your disc and make sure that you just select a regular DVD from the disc selection dialog. That will result in the encoding of the entire slideshow, as seen in the preview, into a motion video DVD that shows all the included elements (transitions, titles, effects, music).
