Please take a screenshot of Program Settings>Audio/MIDI tab and post it here. That will help us to really help you!

Also, rather more details about your computer would be useful.. This post will show you what we need to know.

The computer I am using has an i7 - 9700K CPU, 16GB of ram, 64 bit system windows 10 with latest updates.

@Trevor-Guess Please click on the "Advanced..."-button an check if your audio devices (headphones for example) are activated there.

Hi Folks Thanks for that, I would never have found it. Why is that not a default setting? It would make life so much easier for mere mortals!!
