Hi,

You can make the Song Maker work with the soundpools installed on your hard drive, but you need to point it into the right direction: Open the program settings of Music Maker 14 ("Y" key) and switch to the "Folders" tab. Change the folder for "Imports" to the location where your soundpools are installed, ideally by using the little folder icon next to the path name to browse for a new location. The "Basics_2008" folder should be a sub directory underneath your Music Maker 14 main program directory. For me, under Windows XP, this is the following location:

C:\Program Files\MAGIX\MusicMaker14ProducerEdition\Basics_2008

However, this may differ on your end, depending on the settings you have chosen during installation and your operating system.

Once this is set correctly, you can bring up the Song Maker again ("W" key) and it will find and use the styles installed on the hard drive.

I hope this helps.
