Some plugins just showing up as a black box when installed

Hi I have Acid Pro 8/9 , 95 percent of my plugins work but I have found some that when installed only show a black box and no GUI or sound. I have found this with e,g the free Emergence vst and some other Glitch vsts (demos). Any help would be great I am running windows 10 on a pc 1tb.

@Rayz-R If possible, try to test the plugins in other host applications first, for example via the free VSTHost. If they also appear black it's likely a problem with your graphics device driver. Try to update it.
