some how during production after burning a bluray disc of the movie, I can no longer find it or retrieve it. Can I import the material from the disc I burned and if so what is best way to do that.

I burned two blu ray discs of my project and then I failed to take it to the last step and save the final product.  Now I can not find a way to get the program to recognize anything that would bring it back.  Can I take the bluray disc and copy the files from that back into the system or what files should I put back to be able to use the project again and where should I put them?  The problem occured I think when I took two files that had my source material in it and moved them to an external storage device.  I then copied them back to the orginal place in my desktop but that did not work.  Thanks in advance for taking the time to address my beginners problem.

Hi

Please do not multiple post the same question, and you do not say which version of MEP you are using - please give the full version number eg 2015 and do not abbreviate it to avoid confusion with earlier versions.

This is a user forum so you may not get replies immediately regarding the problem you are having.

Does the File, Last opened disc projects list the project you require and did you save it before you exited the program ?

If this does not list the project you require try File, Load backup project and see if there is a backup copy in the folder where the original project was saved - there may be several the one you want will have the latest time stamp.

. . . . Can I take the bluray disc and copy the files from that back into the system or what files should I put back to be able to use the project again and where should I put them? . . .

You could import the video file(s) back into MEP, however they will not be the individual components used in the original project or the project file.  MEP has processed these into BD disc components and video.  You would also  have to re-edit the video to make any changes.
