(SOLVED) Could not connect to internet during product activation

When trying to activate Soundforge Audio Cleaning Laboratory 2, I received a message saying the 'Connection to the Internet cannot be established thus activation cannot be completed' I followed both the on-screen recommendations (No-Go) and then went to Magix Support and tried the recommendations in this "Knowledge Base" link here: https://www.magix.info/us/support/article/notification-could-not-connect-to-the-internet--154/ (No-Go). Finally, when examining the setting in Microsoft 'Edge' explorer, I saw the the "Pop-Up Blocker" was activated. I deactivated the pop-up blocking and was then SUCCESSFUL in activating the software.
