(Solved) ACID 11 Some sounds are distorted while others aren't.

So, I've been having issues with ACID 11, where some sounds/samples sound exactly like they're supposed to while others have some glitchy/echoing distortion applied to them.

Is there some kind of optimisation for ACID I'm missing?

There are plenty of sounds I've downloaded that sound great, but there are also times where I've sourced a handful of sounds from the same place and half of them have the distortion, or they're all distorted.

I couldn't find any kind of issue of this online, so I'm not sure if this is something just weird with my computer or I haven't hit an obvious setting.

My operating system is windows 10, I have 32 GB of RAM and an i5-7600k processor. If that helps at all.

Solved it myself by essentially disabling the option to open files as loops.

So if anyone else has the issue, this is how I solved it.

😊😆😄🙂

I thought it was my system, then ACID Pro version (I have both 9 & 10 installed). Some older WAV and MP3s sounded distorted and under water, while others, same age, sounded perfect and clear. THIS SOLVED IT!! I had no idea!! THANKS, TECHNEX!!

Kind of amazed I had to look this up immediately to get any of my recordings to sound right. :|
