When I open my program it asks me to update it and starts download . When it's finished I close it ando open again and the downloading process starts again. What can I do to update my sounforge?

Download the installer from the Magix Service Center> My Products or from the Magix Download Center. Reinstall but do not uninstall first and wait until installer dialog asks if you wish to (yes).
After reinstalling Sound Forge will be updated to the latest build and your custom settings should remain.
NOTE... if you have Sound Forge Pro 16, I would not update.. the latest build has more bugs than before and most of the current issues remain, Many folks have reverted back to SF Pro 15 until SFP-16 is finally fixed .
Audio Studio does not seem to have the SF Pro issues so AS can be reinstalled to update.
The other items and plug-ins in the installation manger do not have to be re-installed, just the main SF program.
